From a fruit not commonly known, hardy for cold winters and early barring haskap berries are something special. Supposedly higher in antioxidants than elder berries, haskap berries are tart- sweet with a flavor combination of raspberry and blue berry. They remind me of the wild mountain huckleberry that some of us know and love.
