I have had sensitive skin my whole life, being especially reactive to prescriptive soaps and lotions.
I have tried it all.
I also have had natural dreadlocks for over six years, I have to protect my hair from harsh chemicals and soap residue.
I ran into Mel at her Calloused Hands Bounty booth a few years ago in Stanley at the Sawtooth Festival. Her soaps lookee gorgeous and smelled amazing! But I was especial excited to find tallow based soaps!
She happily enjoyed me sniffing all her soaps and then I asked if she had any tallow based shampoo bars...
I bought three different soaps that day and have kept myself stocked ever since!
From Idaho mountains, to Hawaii Islands, to the Scottish castles and Highlanders, her soap creations have gone with me. keeping me not just clean, but nourished. My Skin and dreadlocks are happier with tallow based soaps, made by Mel with love and intention.

POLICIES
We would hope that everyone would be happy with their purchase but if you are not, please contact us as soon as possible. We cannot accept exchanges or returns due to the nature of our products and even unopened we choose not to resell the products for they have been outside of our control. We would be happy to work out an agreement that would satisfy you.
In regards to soaps please keep in mind that every nose is different and scents may be perceived differently per person. I do my best to describe the scents based upon the fragrance and essential oils that are used and descriptions given from the manufacturers. No refunds will be given based on scent.
If you have any questions please please ask before purchasing.
Orders ship Monday-Friday with the exception of postal holidays. All orders ship within 3-5 business days of the purchase date. At times when I experience a higher volume of orders this time period may be extended. All orders are shipped via USPS.
Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been shipped.
We reserve the right to cancel any unshipped order.
We ship only within the USA, with USPS at a flat rate fee. We do not ship our meats, dairy or eggs due to the nature of the product. Local pickup only.
